Caral, in the Supe Valley, is the oldest city in the Americas, about 5,000 years old. This tour picks you up early in Miraflores or San Isidro and takes you north of Lima to explore it with a guide, entry included.
During the visit you walk through the circular plazas, pyramids and residential areas, and learn how this civilization planned its city and its link with astronomy. Afterwards we stop for lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to Lima.
It runs every day, with pickup between 5:50 and 6:10 a.m., and you're back in Lima between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. It's a long day, made for travelers who want to see where Peru's history begins.
